Miley Cyrus has flashed her 16 millions fans on twitter in support of a good cause.
The singer tweeted a photo of herself lifting up her top on Saturday, with two photoshopped Merry Christmas hearts covering her breasts.
She captioned the pic: "Merry Christmas THANK YOU NY for being one of the few states to @freethenipple."
It's not about getting your titties out. It's about equality. ❤️— Miley Ray Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) December 14, 2013
She also recently posted an Instagram photo of herself holding a rubber nipple, giving a shout-out to the Free the Nipple campaign, which said on its Facebook page (before it was banned) that it aims to "decriminalise the female body."
It also wants to "protest the backwards censorship laws in the US".
After receiving some bad feedback for the stunt, Miley tweeted:
my topless pic is showing less than when I wear clothes haha. People are proving my point so easily.— Miley Ray Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) December 15, 2013
