We've all been there. On a bad date, usually. But also: in any situation where we've been desperate for someone to call us so that we can get out of a tricky/awkward/socially excruciating moment.
Well, now you don't have to wait/hope/pray for that call. Because a new app called Tickle (currently in Beta stage) uses your phone's accelerometer (whatever that is) to generate a phantom phone call whenever you need it (hoorah!).
All you have to do is "touch your phone in an awkward manner" - see video above - for your phone to 'call' you. And then... well, then, you just need to make sure your acting skills are up to scratch.
