Last time Alesha Dixon graced our screens as an X Factor judge she was six months pregnant with daughter Azura Sienna, now four months old. She's back again this year, but how is motherhood affecting her work life? And does she have any tips for expectant dad Simon Cowell?
In the interview above, she pays tribute to her 'support system' - mother Beverley and partner Azuka Ononye - who look after Azura while she is filming. "They make sure I get a good night's sleep," she says. "I can't complain."
But when asked if she is giving fellow judge Simon Cowell advice to prepare for the imminent arrival of his baby with partner Lauren Silverman, she can only laugh. "I wouldn't know where to start!"
For Alesha, the biggest challenge of having a newborn was "sleep deprivation", but she doesn't see any similar trouble for Simon: "He stays up all night working!"
