Cristiano Ronaldo Pays €60,000 For 10-Month-Old Boy's Brain Operation

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo displayed his generous side again recently, when he paid €60,000 for a 10-month-old boy's brain operation.

Madrid fan Erik Ortiz Cruz has been diagnosed with cortical dysplasia, a brain condition which can cause 30 seizures a day

The procedure Ronaldo has paid for will remove a part of the boy's brain, while a series of treatments will also cost €6,000 each time.

Ronaldo is a two-time Ballon d'Or winner

Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo became aware of Erik's condition when he was asked to donate some boots for a charity auction, only he agreed to pay for all of the treatments, according to AS.
