Razorlight will also headline the Essex festival, where other performers will include Goldie Lookin Chain, indie rockers The Feeling and DJ EZ.
Dizzee will headline the Saturday night
This is the first wave of acts to be announced for the festival and additions to the line-up will be revealed in coming weeks.
Since the first ever Brownstock in 2004, the event has come a long way and is well-known for showcasing old favourites and the hottest new talent.
Organisers are also sure to have plenty of special surprises in store during the weekend-long festival, which takes place on the Brown family’s farm.
“Who better to headline a party like that than a British music legend like Dizzee Rascal?” asks Festival Director adam Brown. “We are also planning a host of secret birthday surprises to make sure Brownstock 2014 is one to remember.”
Previous acts to take to the Brownstock stage have included the likes of Example and Labrinth, both of whom have gone on to top the charts.
Brownstock Festival takes place from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 August.
