It's believed that the Olympic diver will fly off to Australia for the reality show later this year, after impressing ITV producers in his new reality show 'Tom Daley Goes Global'.
Tom's latest TV venture sees him jet-setting around the world, along with his best friend Sophie (the same friend who posted a photo of Tom's bare bum to Instagram earlier this year only for the picture to be mysteriously deleted...), to countries including Japan, Morocco and Australia.
Producers were reportedly impressed by scenes which saw Tom becoming so scared during a stay in a Thai beach hut that he left half-way through and checked into a hotel.
Meanwhile, he was also filmed eating scorpions, confronting poisonous spiders and even doing a sky-dive - all of which would come in handy if he were to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Joey Essex, Helen Flanagan and Katie Hopkins by agreeing to a stint in the 'I'm a Celebrity' jungle.
Tom must be getting used to TV work by now, after the second series of his show 'Splash!' aired this year, though it's not known if a third series will be made, as host Gabby Logan recently admitted the show's future was uncertain.
And let's face it, Tom is hardly short on fans, who could come in handy if he were to crop up in the 'I'm a Celeb' jungle.
Last year Tom thanked the public for their "overwhelming" support after revealing in a YouTube video that he was in a relationship with a man, later revealed to be filmmaker Dustin Lance Black.
'Tom Daley Goes Global' kicks off on ITV2, on 10 April.
