Miley Cyrus has had an emotional day, after revealing that her dog Floyd has died while she is away on her 'Bangerz' tour.
She's had the Alaskan Klee Kai since 2011 and Miley, being a known dog-lover, doesn't seem to have taken his passing very well, describing it as the "2nd worst day of my life" when she broke the news on her Twitter page.
She revealed her heartbreak on Twitter on Tuesday night, saying:
I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away 😿💔 I am broken pic.twitter.com/QBPujurnUj— Miley Ray Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) April 2, 2014
She even went as far as to say she wished she could have gone with the dog, tweeting:
I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him 😿 this is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him? pic.twitter.com/Jq9HEvBsw6— Miley Ray Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) April 2, 2014
Miley is currently on her 'Bangerz' world tour, and warned fans in Boston - where she is performing on Wednesday night - that she might not be on top form for her performance, adding: "I will try my best to be my best."
The singer's fans quickly gathered together to show their support, and '#RIPFloyd' was soon among the top trending topics on Twitter.
This isn't the first time the death of a pet has left Miley bereft, as she previously revealed to Rolling Stone that her tears in the controversial music video for her single 'Wrecking Ball' were real, as her dog had "just died".
Miley still has three dogs; Happy, Bean and Mary Jane, who live with her in her home in California.
