WikiLeaks has teased its 2 million Twitter followers ahead of what it calls a statement on the 'future of the internet'.
The information network said that it would make the statement on Tuesday afternoon, though nothing had been published as of press time.

The organisation, whose Twitter icon is an hour glass slowly leaking sand, one grain at a time, posted messages at hourly intervals teasing the announcement.
