It was Kelly Brook's first day on set, starring in new American sitcom One Big Happy on Tuesday. The 34-year-old was grinning from ear to ear when she shared an Instagram picture of herself hanging out backstage.
Earlier this month Kelly - who recently got engaged to bodybuilder and former gladiator beau David McIntosh - confirmed the news she'd landed a leading role in the NBC "multi-camera pilot." She stars alongside Nick Zano and Elisha Cuthbert, who play a straight man and lesbian woman who decide to have a baby together.
The series, written by Liz Feldman and directed by Scott Ellis, will see Kelly playing a British girl called Prudence (phew, no dodgy US accents for Kells), described as "a sexy Mary Poppins", "a free spirit" and "wholly enchanting".
Kelly's previous acting credits include roles in Piranha 3D, Skins, and, of course, The Keith Lemon Movie off the back of her regular stint on his ITV2 show Celebrity Juice.
Kelly's posts follow rumours she was forced to pay for her own engagement ring. A source allegedly told The SunDavid had simply forgotten to buy her a rock amid the excitement of the proposal.
However, Kelly was quick to set the record straight, telling MyDaily that the gossip was simply not true... Not that there's anything wrong with buying your own ring anyway.
"I'm marrying a very traditional man," she told us. "But there is nothing wrong with women buying there own rings. I just didn't."
