One of the many, many problems with modern day printers - beyond the cost of ink, the fact they always break and are all hideously ugly - is that they're huge, hulking things that just sit in the corner and rust.
This printer, on the other hand…
The Zuta Labs walking printer is totally wireless… and robotic. Rather than feed your paper into it, you place the robot on the sheet and watch as it unspools the text onto any size page you choose.
The idea is that you can take the print-bot wherever you go, and use it to produce physical documents in a pinch.
The revolutionary mobile printer is on its way to smashing its Kickstarter target of $400,000, having raised three quarters of that total in a few days.
Its makers said:
"You can see students, lawyers or entrepreneurs working efficiently outside of their homes of offices but then suddenly struggling to find a place to print. Our vision is to change that. We have created a mobile printer that is easy and fun to use, can be taken anywhere, prints from any device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, you name it!) onto any sized page."
