Joey Essex’s one-off ITV2 reality series ‘Educating Joey Essex’ is to return later this year for a new special, according to reports.
The first episode of the show saw the former ‘TOWIE’ star flying to Africa, so he could get to grips with a completely different culture and see if he can make life on the other side of the world a little more “reem”.
It seems Joey Essex's world travels are to continue
During his time in Africa we got to see Joey spending a petrified night camping in the wild, getting told off by a guide for loudly singing during a safari and worrying about rabies after being nipped by a monkey.
This time around Joey will once again be globetrotting, though he’ll now be heading to South America to spend some time in Brazil.
The Sun are reporting that for this new instalment in the series - which is hoped will be the second of many - Joey will be heading to Brazil for a Word Cup special, to coincide with the football tournament which will be held there this summer.
Joey first found fame as a cast member on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’, though he swapped Chigwell for the outback in 2013, when he quit the show and joined the most recent series of ‘I’m A Celebrity’.
He finished in fourth place, with Westlife singer Kian Egan eventually being voted ‘king of the jungle’.
Joey recently confirmed that he’d been reunited with his ex-fiancée Sam Faiers, following her diagnosis with Crohn’s disease.
She revealed earlier this year that she’d be taking a break from ‘TOWIE’ so she could focus on getting better, as well as on her rekindled relationship with Joey.
