Dita Von Teese, the burlesque star and model, is famous for her glossy jet-black hair and porcelain skin, not to mention her incredible vintage wardrobe.
So, when Team MyDaily stumbled across this flashback photo she shared on her Instagram page, we had to do a double take.
This blonde teenager posing in a bandeau bikini with sunkissed skin can't be Dita Von Teese, can it?
Turns out, Dita was taking us all on a trip down memory lane on Tuesday by revealing how she used to look aged 16.
She shared the photo with the caption, "Found this pic of me sunbathing, age 16. I still love the beach, but these days I prefer to enjoy it with sun protection or by moon-bathing in a black swimsuit paired with diamonds."
Is it just us, or is Dita totally unrecognisable as a 16-year-old girl? Yes, this photo is from a while back (Dita is 42 now) but still, talk about an image change.
One of the previous Instagram pictures from her fragrance launch only highlights this further. The black curls, the red lips, the black eyeliner, the diamond earrings... clearly Dita just wasn't happy being blonde.
