Assassin's Creed 5: What We Know Before E3 2014

Assassin's Creed 5: What We Know So Far

Assassin's Creed 5 news is starting to trickle in now we're just a few precious weeks from E3, the world's biggest video games conference.

We already know that the next hoods-n-knives action adventure will be split into two parts, with at least one set in revolutionary France.

That game - 'Unity' - will be released for the Xbox One and PS4, while 'Comet', a separate title set on the Eastern Seaboard of the US, will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3.

It is also widely thought that the new games will be released in early November, joined by at least one game manual and one comic-book tie-in.

AC5: El Cakr will be released on 31 October, and looks set to focus on Egypt in the 14th century -- which may (or more likely may not) will be linked to the game.

Now we're hearing that the long-awaited Assassin's Creed V movie starring Michael Fassbander, and currently undergoing a total rewrite, might tie-in with the new game.

Other than that, there are few new detail to report ahead of E3, which runs from 10 June to 12 June. But we can't wait to hear about everything that's to come.
