James Corden and his wife Julia Carey are expecting their second child together, it has been confirmed.
It was rumoured yesterday that the ‘Gavin and Stacey’ star and his wife could soon be giving their three-year-old son Max a little brother and sister and the star's spokesperson has now confirmed the news, though no other details about the pregnancy have been revealed.
According to The Mirror, a source close to the pair said: “James and Julia have loved every minute of becoming parents to their toddler Max and were keen to give him a brother or sister who is close in age.
“They’re delighted to be pregnant again and can’t wait to expand the family.”
Talking about fatherhood in an interview last year, James told The Mirror: “Having a son has given me a great sense of clarity.
"You get into your house and shut the door and it’s lovely to be greeted by this person who’s become the most important thing. It’s amazing."
The couple were photographed on the red carpet at the TV Baftas on Sunday night, where Julia showed off just a hint of a baby bump.
As if his joyous baby news wasn’t enough, James even managed to scoop an award at the ceremony, for his Sky One panel show ‘A League Of Their Own’, which also features comedians Jack Whitehall and John Bishop, as well as footballer Jamie Redknapp.
