The car lot manager has been getting close to the police officer in recent weeks, leaving viewers wondering how their romance will affect the Lucy Beale murder case.
The pair steal a kiss
DC Summerhayes is working on the case, giving Max - who could be Lucy’s killer - the perfect way to gain more information on the police’s investigation.
On Tuesday, viewers saw Max confess a huge secret his daughter Abi, who surprised him by helping to clear up some evidence.
Peter Beale and Max’s daughter Lauren have been doing their best to gather more information on the killer’s identity, but they haven't been having much luck.
