Katie Holmes is fronting US Glamour's August issue and the American actress is doing that double denim, big haired, no bra thing.
This is Holmes we're talking about here, so it's completely tasteful and the Dawson's Creek star looks like a 1970s supermodel in the shoot by photographer Tom Munro. The magazine cover reveals that "single life agrees with her!" and after seeing this, we couldn't agree more.

Holmes has officially shaken off the Joey Potter girl next door vibe and the 35-year-old beauty talks her new life, confidence and what she wants next (she's got big plans to direct a movie).
So far, so sexy right? This is Holmes doing yummy mummy and she looks incredible.

The immaculate, understated makeup is everything you'd expect from the former face of Bobbi Brown and the brunette bouffant do is so retro it makes us want to get a bouncy blow dry asap.
On her new found confidence Holmes tells the magazine: "I feel like I can really do anything.
"What I've learned is that you can't take yourself too seriously. But you should take your ideas seriously."
