Sue and Noel Radford have shared the very sad news that their baby was born stillborn.
Alfie Thomas was not due to be born until November.
Our sympathies go out to the family at this time of loss.
Four days later on July 10 they shared another Facebook message:
"Our whole family would just like to say thank you for all your kind words and messages we've received at such a sad time for us all. They have meant so much to know you are thinking of us and Alfie. If it was possible for our family to be any closer Alfie has definitely done that to us all. He will live in our hearts forever. Alfie's funeral is on Wednesday the 16th July and I know you will all be thinking of us as we say goodbye to our precious baby boy Xx"
The Radfords' daughter Sophie is pregnant with their second grandchild. The babies were due to be born within weeks of each other.
On the morning of their baby's funeral, the Radfords posted another heart-rending message:
"Give us the strength to get through today as we say goodnight to our precious baby boy Alfie Thomas Radford we are so proud to be your mummy and daddy and i feel so blessed to have felt your kicks and kissed your beautiful lips we will miss you every second of every day, Alfie fly high sweetheart we all love you so very much Xxx"
