‘EastEnders’ actor Matt Di Angelo has confirmed that his character Dean Wicks is set to start an affair with Lauren Branning.
Dean has been having a tough time since returning to Albert Square recently and is currently struggling to deal with his feelings for Linda Carter, his ‘aunt’, who is actually his sister-in-law.
Lauren, played by Jacqueline Jossa, hasn’t exactly had an easy time lately either and she’s currently hiding her feelings for Peter Beale, who is in a relationship with Lola.
Speaking to Inside Soap, Matt revealed that it won’t be long before the pair turn to each other.
"It's true, Dean and Lauren are going to get together - but it's nothing serious. It was fun for me, being in bed with Jacqueline Jossa, who plays Lauren,” he tells the mag.
"But I don't think Dean cares too much for Lauren. She's just a distraction and I can imagine he's thinking about Linda the whole time."
Um, word of advice here Matt - have you seen Jacqueline’s boyfriend, Dan Osborne? Maybe leave the bit about how fun it was in bed out in the future…
At the moment, the residents of Walford are still struggling to deal with the fact there’s a killer in their midst and Ian Beale recently launched a public appeal for more information on the murder of his daughter Lucy.
While there’s no shortage of suspects, a lack of reliable info means Jake has been released from jail and police are still hunting for the murderer.
