James Rodríguez has finally got his hands on the World Cup Golden Boot.
The 23-year-old forward, who recently joined Real Madrid for £63 million from AS Monaco, hit six goals in Brazil as the captivating Colombians reached the quarter-finals.
Rodríguez scored against Greece, the Ivory Coast, Japan, twice against Uruguay and a penalty in the last eight defeat to Brazil.
Although Lionel Messi was peculiarly awarded the Golden Ball for the best player of the tournament, many consider Rodríguez to have been the standout player on show.
His chest-and-volley versus Uruguay was also voted the Goal of the Tournament, capping a phenomenal finals for the former Porto forward.
