Amir Khan had some happy news to share with Twitter today (Friday, May 23) - he has become a dad!
The boxer's wife Faryal has given birth to a daughter named Lamysa.
The Olympic silver medallist and two-time world champion, nicknamed 'King Khan', posted a tweet on the social network this morning saying: 'Faryal and I are delighted to announce the birth our first child Lamysa Khan everyone doing very well, thank you for all your wishes'.
Lamysa is the couple's first child. Amir, 27, met Faryal, 22, when she was a political science student in New York City.
They were married in June last year at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York, before returning to the UK for another ceremony in Amir's hometown of Bolton, which was attended by over 4,000 guests.
