They say distance makes the heart grow fonder. And now Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have revealed how they've managed to keep their romance sizzling when filming apart.
Hollywood couples often have to spend time apart while working on different projects, and while working on opposite ends of the world Jolie and Pitt spend time writing love letters to one another! How cute!
In an interview with Australia's TV Week, mum-of-six Ange revealed the couple enjoy keeping the romance by sending letters to each other.
It all started when they were working on different war films and they were keen to experience time apart as couples used to during the Second World War.
During her interview, Jolie said: "He was supportive from a distance and it was quite romantic in a way.
"We decided to be of that time, when we could imagine he was in the European theatre and I was in the Pacific theatre, and we wrote handwritten letters to each other that were very connecting for us. Thinking of the people that were separated for months, if not years, at a time back then (during the war)."
The couple will star together once again in new project By The Sea, being filmed by the beach in Malta. The pair will play husband and wife in the movie. due for release in 2016 and the first time they've starred in a film together since Mr and Mrs Smith.
The plot for the film, written and directed by Angelina, hasn't been revealed but we do know that they've hired a beachside cafe for three months while they film the flick.
