If you were even remotely in doubt that navy is the new black, Anna Friel's elegant endorsement at the InStyle Best of British Talent party has confirmed it.
The 37 year-old Brit actress glammed up for the star-studded bash in celebration of BAFTA at Dartmouth House in London on Tuesday. Anna stole the show in a white corset top with metallic cross detailing, high-waisted navy cigarette trousers and Nicholas Kirkwood heels with applique hexagon toes.
The secret is all in the staple, said navy trews, and it's exactly what every girl needs in her wardrobe.
Anna's personal touch? The black could-be-a-turban-headband waist belt. It works and we LOVE it.
Anna wasn't the only one pulling out all the style stops either. Erin O'Connor looked incredible in a stunning floor-length gown, boxy clutch and signature slicked back 'do. Alice Temperley also pitched up looking effortlessly fabulous in a white shirt and knitted dress combo and leopard print ankle boots.
