Yep, apple cider vinegar is the answer to glossy, healthy-looking hair. It's great for detangling knotted locks and the acidity in it also balances the hair's natural pH levels.
How do you use it? Blogger Tessa John-Connor, who also goes by the name of Afroista, spoke to Huffington Post Style about how she washes her thick curls with the stuff.
"I put two tablespoons of Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Magic Soap or apple cider vinegar in a jug of water to cleanse my scalp," she told the site.
"Once a month, I make a mask out of bentonite clay with some filtered water and apple cider vinegar and add a tad bit of olive oil and marshmallow root powder."
