Avril Lavigne took on the wet weather in New York this week in a PVC puff coat. The 24 year-old singer was spotted hot-stepping across town to make an appearance on Katie Couric's talk show to promote her latest album.
Lavigne stuck to her signature all-black style in a simple below-the-knee dress, platform stilettos and said coat.
Now when we say PVC - we're talking panels of it from the waist down and then detailing at the collar and cuffs. OK, it might not be exactly the kind of Autumn/Winter coat we'd opt for but hats off to the lady, she is dabbling in the high-shine trend.
The biker chic look has worked for Lavigne ever since she started rocking out to Sk8er Girl and she's still doing it now (check the black nails). The blonde middle parted, polka straight 'do is also for keeps but it's definitely looking blonder and longer than ever, no?
