The 20-year-old former X Factor contestant got married to her fiancé, 23-year-old Craig Monk, in November last year.
But the loved-up pair have not yet been on honeymoon as, according to Cher, they're waiting to become parents before jetting off.
Cher has fond memories of accompanying her parents on their honeymoon and she would like to recreate that experience for her own children.
"When my mum and dad got married they never had a honeymoon. And then there was us four kids and then we all went on holiday together and that was kind of classed as their honeymoon," the Swagger Jagger singer told the Metro.
"I wouldn't mind doing that. I would like to wait until we have a kid. And I can take it with me."
Cher added that starting a family is of up utmost importance to her:
"I cannot wait," she said. "It's something that I'm really looking forward to and it's a very rewarding thing. It's important for me to have a really good family."
Cher is currently eagerly awaiting the release of her second album, which is called Sorry I'm Late - a phrase that could quite fittingly be applied to her delayed honeymoon plans.
