Mad Men's Christina Hendricks is known for her flawless red carpet looks where she shows off her amazing curves in some pretty fabulous vintage-inspired styles. And now the actress has been giving some advice to the ladies of the world by sharing her thoughts on the worst crime in fashion!
In an interview with The Edit, Net-A-Porter's weekly magazine, Christina, talks about styles when hit TV show Mad Men first hit our screens when it was released back in 2007. And the one she's talking about is pretty awful.
She said: "When we came out people were wearing jeans with their thongs out, maybe one of the worst crimes in fashion we've ever had. I think people were craving that tailored, put together sense of style and respect for fashion."
She also admitted that she loves retro look as much as her character, Joan Harris, does on screen.
"I like clothes that are vintage-inspired and whimsical. You need some basics in your closet, but I always tend to do to the piece that has a sparkle on it, or a pearl."
Hendricks, who has been dying her naturally blonde hair colour since she was 10-years-old, recently revealed a few beauty secrets in an interview with Redbook magazine.
Her tips includes blusher, which she wears even if she's not wearing anything other beauty products, black liquid eyeliner and a pop of colour for her lips.
"I've had a go-to look for years that's pretty similar to Joan Harris. I do black liquid eyeliner along my top lashes, rosy cheeks, and pink, red, or coral lips. That feels the most me."
More Christina? Viola, ladies...
