The Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton aka K-Middy) has given birth to a baby boy at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, where Princess Diana delivered both Prince William and Harry.
The news we've all been waiting for since Kate's pregnancy was announced back in December was confirmed by Palace officials in a statement which read, "The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St Mary's Hospital Paddington, London in the early stages of labour.
"The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing with The Duke of Cambridge."
Champers, luxury toiletries and a reclining chair for daddy are just some of the extras in the plush maternity unit where K-Middy will give birth.
While the world waits with bated breath for WIlls and Kate's first child to arrive Team MyDaily have been placing bets on what they'll call their bundle of joy... Our money's on Alexandra (if it's a girl, of course!).
The royal baby will be the third in line to the throne, bumping Prince Harry into fourth position. But how about their title? Well, the baby will be the Prince or Princess of Cambridge!

'Made In Chelsea' star Francesca Hull tweeted, "GO KATE GO KATE GO KATE!!!!!!! This time its for real #RoyalBabyWatch." Is it just us or d'you reckon she's a little bit excited?
While many gushed over the royal baby's imminent arrival, Perez Hilton was more worried troubled star Amanda Bynes would start calling he or she "ugly". "I am just praying @AmandaBynes doesn't call the royal baby ugly!!!!" he wrote.

13:45 - The royal baby won't necessarily have a surname but if the Duke and Duchess want to give their little'un one they can choose from Mountbatton-Windsor, Wales or Cambridge.
14:32 - Actress Helen Mirren has shared her thoughts on the royal baba. According to The Mirror, Dame Helen said it would be "very interesting" if Kate and Wills named their child Diana. BUT is convinced the middle name will be Elizabeth.
On the imminent birth she said, "That's weird isn't it? Everyone knowing you're in labour. That must be so uncomfortable."
She said it would be "great" if the baby was a girl because "we need more Queens in our life."
15:05 - The Archbishop of Canterbury - who is pretty likely to carry out the royal baby's christening - tweeted his best wishes to Kate and Wills. "My thoughts and prayers are with Kate and the whole family on this enormously special day," he wrote.

15:58 - Kate's uncle Gary Goldsmith tweeted about the "very exciting day".
16:06 - The Queen, senior members of the Royal Family and the Duchess' family (if they're not at the hospital) will be told about the birth first.
THEN a royal aide will take a bulletin to Buckingham Palace under police escort. The note will be displayed on an ornate easel for all to see before an announcement is made on Twitter and Facebook.
