If you've been wondering whether it's too early to dig out your favourite maxi dress, Emilia Fox confirmed late spring is the perfect time to showcase the summery style at the BAFTA Television Craft Awards on Sunday night.
The British star arrived for the TV event at The Brewery in London wearing a vintage floor-length style with a pastel blue and white print. How did she look? Totally elegant of course, but in a fresh and effortless kind of way.
Fox paired her maxi, by Milanese designer Luisa Beccaria, with Monica Vinader earrings, a gold clutch by By Malene Birger and a sleek, side-swept updo. A touch of highlighter on the cheeks and a nude lipgloss were all she needed to complete this look.
Emilia wasn't the only one to turn up in a vintage-inspired outfit either. In fact, Sixties style was the look of the night.
Actress Ophelia Lovibond wore black, purple and beige mini dress in a retro print while former Strictly star Kara Tointon also embraced the era in another short, printed style.
Tointon paired her polka dot print dress with matching baby blue stilettos and the ultimate Sixties hair and makeup - a bouffant crop, black eyeliner and a candy coloured lipstick. Cute or what?
Whether you prefer a maxi or a mini, often vintage is the best way to go when it comes to standout evening attire.
