She kept an astonishingly low profile throughout her surprise pregnancy, and now, post-birth, Adele is still keeping mum about her baby boy's name!
Picking up the Best Original Song accolade at last night's Golden Globes ceremony, for the Bond theme tune Skyfall, the new mum looked glowing in a vintage-style floor-length black Burberry dress with elbow length sleeves and a trimmed neckline.
Taking to the stage to collect her gong, intensely private Adele was visibly shocked at receiving the award.
"Oh, my God! I'd like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press. I never thought I'd say that!" she exclaimed, before thanking her boyfriend Simon Konecki and their baby.
"This is for my boyfriend who convinced me to do it and for my lovely son," she gushed - STILL refusing to release the baby's name.
Sources at the Hollywood Reporter claim that Adele was quizzed backstage as to the little boy's moniker, but steadfastly ignored requests to reveal what it was, reportedly saying it is 'too personal'.
Hmmm. We think this is a bit of an odd sitch... obviously we can see WHY Adele wants to keep her baby out of the spotlight, but the interest is going to remain all the more intense while she is making such a big deal of not letting on what's written on his birth certificate... unless of course they have gone for such an off-the-wall showbiz name they are too embarrassed to say?
Bond, perhaps? 007? Or could it be just the opposite and totes unshowbiz? Plain old James, maybe?
