The Great British Bake Off is back!
In week one of the new 2014 series, the 12 contestants are asked to make bakes for three challenges:
Swiss roll
Cherry cake
Classic British cakes
Here, we show you how you can be King or Queen of your very own marquee with these easy recipes for those three classic bakes.
The Great British Bake Off has moved up a channel this year, and will now be shown on BBC One (rather than BBC Two) at 8pm on Wednesday evenings.

The new batch of bakers will be judged by regular duo Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, with presenters Mel and Sue presiding over proceedings as per usual.
