Cheryl Cole has been married for less than a month, but the word on the street is that Cheryl's new husband's Jean-Bernard Fernardez-Versini's surname has already become a little bit of a mouthful.
The Geordie singer became Cheryl Fernandez-Versini when she married her man Jean-Bernard in Mustique early last month.
We all thought she'd be using her name when she appears on our screens for the X Factor later this year. But according to the Sunday People, she'll be known only by her first name.
Initially the singer had replaced her surname Cole - from her marriage to ex-Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole - in place of that of her new French beau. But now she's decided that's a bit of a mouthful and she thinks it's easier if she's known as just Cheryl.
A source told the paper: "It's just Cheryl because everyone seems to be having a hard time saying it."
Even Peter Dickson - the guy with the deep voice who introduces everyone on the talent show - had been practising how to say her new surname correctly.
In other news, Simon Cowell has revealed he has discussed motherhood and babies with Cheryl. He claims Cheryl will be the next person on the X Factor judging panel to have a baby.
Cheryl confirmed her marriage on Twitter after it was leaked to tabloid papers. Speaking on BBC Radio 1 after announcing the news, Cheryl revealed she had been hoping to keep her wedding a secret.
The couple tied the knot after just three months of dating - now that's a whirlwind romance!
