Lena Dunham celebrated the launch of Girls series three in New York this week and in between posing with her co-stars on the show, Dunham spoke about two of her greatest fashion icons.
When Vanity Fair asked Dunham about working with J. Crew president Jenna Lyons (who will appear in the latest series), she gushed, "Jenna is an incredibly fascinating person, and I was freaking thrilled by the concept of filming her, and so when she said yes, I obviously tailored the part to her, because she's so iconic and specific."
However, the J.Crew designer isn't the only fashion star that Dunham wants to appear in Girls. Victoria Beckham is rumoured to have expressed an interest in the show - and Lena is more than happy to write a part for her.
"I'd love to see Victoria Beckham, like, dress it down a little bit, maybe do Victoria Beckham as somebody's adult-education teacher or something," she told Vanity Fair.
"I love her; she's very chic and nice."
VB as an adult-education teacher? Now that's something we'd like to see.
No doubt Lena will be attending Beckham's Autumn/Winter 2014 fashion show in New York this February. Here's a reminder of the designer's latest collection:
