It's a brave move to wear velvet at the best of times. But Jennifer Lopez took the word daring to another level when she pitched up at a dinner in Washington DC in this ensemble.
Lopez was rocking a sheer sparkling and sequined dress with dark red velvet panels to the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner held at the Washington Convention Centre. During the event she picked up the Ally for Equality award. Hurrah!
Now, back to the outfit...
The floor length burgundy frock by Zuhair Murad featured full-length sheer sleeves and a high collar, with beautiful detail in the sequins and beading.
The singer turned actress looked chic with just the right amount of skin on show. Good to see that velvet was covering all the necessary areas.
Lopez, aka Jenny from the Block, wore her hair swept into a low-lying pony tail. Cute.
For the accessories, the X Factor judge opted for a Swarovski bag and lots of jewels with pretty much a ring on every finger! Why have just one when you can have ten, right?
More JLo, you ask? Of course...
