We love Julia Roberts but, unfortunately, it appears she may have been leading the charge for the worst dressed nominee at the 2014 Critics' Choice Awards on Thursday night.
The actress hit the red carpet in a slightly matronly monochrome Juan Carlos Obando dress, paired with Dana Rebecca Designs earrings, and a Barbara Bui clutch. She tried to add edge to the look by rocking a pair of designer shades, but that kinda didn't work, either.
She was joined on the red carpet by her August: Osage County castmate - and fellow sunnies-wearer - Meryl Streep.
The pair were both nominated for their roles in the film, Julia for Best Supporting Actress and Meryl for Best Actress. They both lost out (Meryl to Cate Blanchett for Blue Jasmine, and Julia to Lupita Nyong'o for 12 Years A Slave).
