New mum Kate Winslet has revealed she always planned to give her first child with Ned Rocknroll her last name. And who can blame her?
The 38-year-old actress - who gave birth to baby boy Bear on December 7 - told Glamour magazine the baby "was always" going to take her name.
"We haven't ever really had that conversation; it was always going to have my name," Kate confessed to the mag. Although Bear Rocknroll has a certain showbiz ring to it, we're pretty sure we'd have made a similar decision if we were KW.
Her hubby, Ned, was born Abel Smith but changed his name legally to something far more, er, catchy.
"Of course we're not going to call it RocknRoll," Kate, who has two older children with her first husband Jim Threapleton and second Sam Mendes.
"Mia and Joe have it as part of their name, so it would be weird if this baby didn't," she explained.
However, it seems Kate is already bored of the subject, adding: "People might judge all they like, but I'm a f--king grown-up." End of discussion.
