The phrase 'saving the best till last' springs to mind.
Katie Holmes wowed on the final day of New York Fashion Week dressed in a decidedly retro-feminine ensemble to take in the Michael Kors show.
Despite also showing a collection herself this week under her label Holmes and Yang, Katie somehow managed to find the time to hot-foot it to the show, and steal the limelight on the front row. Some people, huh?!
We're normally used to seeing Katie in dressed-down mode going about her business on the streets of the Big Apple with Suri in tow, but give this girl an inch and she'll run a mile, so to speak.
Katie used her 'me time' to really amp up her sartorial appeal, choosing a tight-fitting lime sweater and a dramatic petal-strewn full skirt which showed a new, sophisticated side to the gorgeous 34-year-old star. Add in sleek nude extras and you've got a hit on your hands.
We want to see more of this please, KC!
Katie spoke to E! Online about why she'd come along to see the show: "I've always been a fan of Michael Kors. I love his classic designs. It's so accessible to so many women - from his watches to his bags to his beautiful designs and I think he's just such a great American designer and I'm really happy to be here."
