As she prepares to have her fourth child, heavily pregnant Katie Price has revealed the challenges of bringing up her first son, Harvey, 11, who is disabled.
She said one of the aspects of his disability is that he is hungry all the time – so she is forced to lock her kitchen door at night to stop Harvey from gorging himself on food.
The youngster has a string of disabilities, including blindness, autism, ADHD and Prader-Willi syndrome - which gives him a ravenous appetite.
Katie, 35, told the Sunday Mirror that Harvey often tries to raid the fridge in the middle of the night and throws violent tantrums when he can't get to food.
She said: "It's really tough at times. We've had to padlock the kitchen door now because Harvey doesn't know when he's full and he is desperate to get at the food.
"He goes downstairs early in the morning and I hear him kicking off and throwing things because he can't get to the food."
She said she is desperately trying to control Harvey's weight - fearing it will damage his health if he becomes too big.
Despite her struggles with Harvey, Katie - also mum to Junior, seven, and Princess, five - is determined to keep family life normal. She's helped by husband Kieran, 26, who has taken her children under his wing.
Katie said: "I have three kids and one of them has a disability and that's very demanding. So I know I'm very lucky for a man to put up with that situation."
The couple are expecting their first child together any day now.
