Kim Kardashian Wedding Dress: Copycat Kate Middleton Design?

We already knew Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding would be an affair to rival the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's royal wedding, but now it seems Kim is set on out-dressing Kate Middleton herself.

The reality TV star turned Vogue cover girl reportedly spent a cool $2million - that's about £600,000 to you and me - on a wedding dress inspired by the Duchess after being completely bowled over by her bespoke Alexander McQueen number at the royal nuptials in 2011.

"She has called on Sarah Burton to design one of her options," a source told RadarOnline. "Kim wants the low-cut V-neck look that Kate had, but much lower, and she wants her gown to be tight fitting to show off her svelte figure."

The insider added: "Her gown is estimated to cost $2 million. And no one will see the gown until she walks down the aisle."

As expected, KK hasn't commissioned just one dress for her big day. "There are three gowns that were made just for her and she hasn't even decided yet between them."

According to The Sun, Karen Houghton - AKA Kimmy's aunt - has been spilling even more details on the dress. "Kim saw the visually stunning royal wedding and wants to replicate that," she told the red top.

"It's a great chance to show the world what a classy family we have."

However, if Kim's recent Parisian wardrobe is anything to go by, she'll be wearing nude and suede. Hmmm, we guess we'll just have to hold tight and wait for the big day - rumoured to be this weekend - to find out.
