All eyes were on Kylie Minogue during her seven song set for the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony at Glasgow's Hampden Park on Sunday.
The Aussie pop princess performed hits 'Spinning Around', 'Into the Blue' and 'Love At First Sight' to hordes of fans including Prime Minister David Cameron and a TV audience of approximately a billion.
As for the onstage ensembles? There were two costume changes - the first saw Kylie do her signature sexy thing in black patent thigh-high boots, a satin pink and black bodysuit and a feather headdress.
The second was a white lace mini dress with a gold trim bodice and matching gold ankle strap sandals - the perfect popstar-does-goddess get-up.
"So much beautiful energy here tonight" Kylie told the crowd during her set.
"I admire your commitment, your passion so much and I'm so grateful to be here. Thank you so much."
It was during Kylie's costume change that 25-year-old Australian steeplechase runner Genevieve LaCaze decided to storm the stage and try her chances of rubbing shoulders with the pint-sized popstar.
"The opportunity to dance with Kylie Minogue doesn't come around every lifetime, so I took it" LaCaze told Brisbane radio station B105 in an interview on a bus returning to the athletes' village. You would though, wouldn't you?
Sadly, she was escorted off stage before she could really take to the microphone. LaCaze told Channel 10 television: "I just wanted a little bit of claim to fame. I wanted a little bit of TV time; I am turning 25, so why not."
Nothing like a little fan girl action to close the show.
