Just when you think Lady Gaga's style can't get any more daring, she goes and walks through the New York streets in fishnet tights, a bra, a leather jacket and towering platform heels to get to the David Letterman show.
Gaga was actually giving the Letterman's guests a pleasant surprise as she was performing at the nearby Roseland Ballroom - and thought the chat show audience might like to come over to see it, too.
According to CBS Local, she walked across the street and said to the TV audience: "You can come over and I'll sing some songs."
Then, Gaga, David Letterman, and Bill Murray led the crowd across 53rd street and over to the Roseland Ballroom, where Gaga is in the middle of a seven-night run to close the iconic concert venue, which opened in 1919.
The 500 audience members were treated to two songs by the artist, whose stage costume also featured a huge yellow wig.
Earlier in the day, Gaga had looked a little more 'normal', in a pretty vintage tulle tea dress.
She did have some concessions to 'eccentric' by holding a tea cup in her gloved hand and a gold rose in the other. But it was certainly prettier than the fishnet look, which Cher no doubt would even have been proud of.
