Lady Gaga Sticks Sellotape To Her Face To Relax (True Story)

Forget yoga. Poo-poo pilates. The new way to relax is sticking sellotape to your face - if you're Lady Gaga.

Chatting to Porter magazine, the pop superstar revealed she uses sticky tape to change the shape of her face and the whole process keeps her calm.

She said: "When I have my wig cap on and I'm taping my face, it's a sort of meditation for me. Every day, it starts the same way. It's like a mantra."

She continues: "I wash my face, I pin my hair back and put on a wig cap and I ask, 'How am I going to form my eyes today with this tape? How will I pull back my neck with tape?'"

But of course you do, Gaga, but of course you do. Some people wouldn't feel comfortable talking about how they tape back their face, but Mother Monster ain't some people. Obviously.

The star was recently transformed for the cover of the magazine, ditching her avant grade style for a more natural look.

Talking about the cover, editor-in-chief Lucy Yeomans said: "It is often easy to forget that there is actually a young woman - and an exceptional musician - behind the wigs and the costumes, the hype and the theatrics."

"With these pictures, we wanted to reveal the woman behind the Lady, the artist behind the artifice, Yeomans continued.

"When I first saw Inez & Vinoodh's shot of Gaga wearing nothing but her grandmother's vintage robe - the piece she often wears to write her music in - I just knew it had to be the cover."
