Fact: Fun girls need Julien Macdonald, because his return to London Fashion Week was a collection of everything the sexiest, most charismatic, glamorous ladies need to sparkle, stand out and basically feel like the best person at the party.
It wasn't a huge step away from Macdonald's previous designs but was a sight for sore eyes all the same. Who doesn't want to see a show full of dresses they could go dancing in?
In terms of shape and length, short and fitted were the way forward, and everything shimmered and glittered with decadent embellishment. The palette was varied, but there was a lot of gold, blue and a canary yellow number that is literally to die for.
