Whether you watch Downton Abbey or not, there's no denying that Lady Mary, played by Michelle Dockery, looked beautiful when she married poor old Matthew Crawley.
So, brides-to-be will be happy to hear that they too can get Lady Mary's vintage wedding style. In fact, brides and Downton fans everywhere can now wear the 45-carat diamond tiara that Dockery wore for her marriage scene.
London-based jeweller Bentley & Skinner is renting the pave-set headband. At a price.
The Telegraph reports that hiring the tiara will cost £1,250 a day. And then there's the not-so-small matter of the deposit. Anyone who borrows the Georgian accessory will also have to pay a deposit of £125,000 - just in case. Wow.
Dressing like a Downton Abbey lady doesn't come cheap. Neither do diamonds.
