Man Jailed For Rape Of 11-Year-Old Boy

Jail for man who raped 11-year-old boy at knife-point on Halloween

A man from Warwickshire has been jailed for 12 years for the knife-point rape of an 11-year-old boy on Halloween.

Simon John Heritage, 38, attacked the child in Bedworth in Warwickshire on 31 October last year in what police officers branded a 'particularly despicable crime'.

Appearing at Warwick Crown Court he entered a guilty plea to charges which included kidnap, carrying an article with a blade, inciting a boy under 13 to engage in sexual activity and two counts of rape.

The BBC reports that Heritage was banned from working with children for life and put on the sex offenders register.
