The Emporio ArmaniAutumn/Winter 2014 show at Milan Fashion Week confirmed that really beautiful things come in twos and threes.
The models sauntered down the runway in monochrome, that forever colour trend, strap tiered mini dresses, tuxedos, tailored jackets, patent heels and metallic handbags.
Androgyny was a big theme but it was given a sleek update with suave-making velvet and fur detailing.
The cropped black wigs and oversized bowler hats? Think Pharrell Williams style but with a touch of gentle elegance.
Notes from the show are as follows:
1. Drop earrings are oversized and blingy. The perfect accessories to wear with a chic cropped 'do.
2. Boxy cross-body bags are layered over smart separates. Otherwise, it's about clutches with hand straps.
3. Pinstripe is back and works best across an oversized coat/jacket or silk culottes. Ladies, channel your inner Giorgio Armani gent.
4. Fabulous flats. This A/W is all about a classic patent loafer.
