Miley Cyrus' topless Rolling Stonecover has caused a bit of a stir among the world's media.
The 20-year-old - who's had most people's jaws on the floor with her recent twerking, nakedness and splitting from heart-throb actor fiancee and apparently shacking up with her music producer - has got tongues wagging once again with this mag cover. Seriously though, is this such a big deal?
The Wrecking Ball singer seems to have caused total outrage, stripping off and sticking her tongue out for a cover shoot with Rolling Stone's October 2013 issue. It's as if we've never seen a half-naked magazine spread before. *Confused face*.
News outlets are dubbing the former Disney star's latest actions as a total "scandal" butthe only scandalous behaviour we can see is the fact everyone's forgotten the reams of other celebs who've gone topless for a mag.
Oh, and that she's done it all before. Remember Cosmopolitan's March 2013 issue? Clearly not.
Britney Spears took off her kit for Rolling Stone back in 2003 and even squeaky clean Lauren Conrad and Hollywood darling Jennifer Aniston have gone topless. What makes Miley's so different?
Possible reasons:
1. She's too young?
She's 20-years-old, not 17. We fail to see an issue here.
2. She's being too provocative?
Hello! It's Rolling Stone. Hate to burst the bubble but it's not exactly known for sunshine, lollipops and goody-goody girls. Also, if we're classing licking her shoulder as provocative we need to loosen out chastity belts.
3. Her makeup is smudged
God forbid she's let her mascara run.
