Our hearts still haven't quite recovered from the news that Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are no longer a couple, so when we see pictures like this we get a nice warm and fuzzy glow.
The genetically blessed twosome might not be joined together in wholly matrimony any more, but it's clear that the Aussie model and Brit actor still enjoy spending time together, and have been spotted on more than one occasion together since the split, even when their two-year-old son Flynn isn't around.
Miranda looked her usual chic self in a stylish wool coat, distressed jeans and leopard print flats as she and Orlando hit the streets of NYC together on Friday, chatting, smiling and looking entirely comfortable in each other's company. Sadly, we must report that no hand-holding or PDAs were spotted. Sniff.
Miranda and Orlando announced their shock split in October after three years of marriage and said at the time that they had been separated for several months. Despite this, the split was said to be amicable and they would continue to be in each other's lives as parents to Flynn.
Miranda recently told Harper's Bazaar Australia: "It's difficult for anyone to go through a separation, whether it's on a public scale or not. It was important for us long-term to preserve our friendship and the dynamic of being loving parents to Flynn so we dealt with everything openly and honestly.
"We respect each other and with respect comes understanding. When there's understanding, I guess everything is a little more harmonious."
Far be it for us to judge, but we still have a small flicker of hope. That is all.
