My Work Style: The Fold

When it comes to dressing for the office, the team at The Fold are all about style, comfort and quality. We stopped by to get some tips on putting together the perfect work wardrobe...

Polly McMaster, CEO and co-founder, wears The Grosvenor dress in navy and white from The Fold Spring/Summer 2014 collection with nude heels from Zara and a lime green scarf from Cos.

When it comes to interview style, Polly says: "It's really important to show you've made an effort so your look is polished, but it's also about wearing something that reflects your personality."

Polly also wears earrings from Liberty, a chunky gold ring by Sonal Bhaskaran (plus two blingy ones from Cool Diamonds and Astley Clarke) and a rose gold Michael Kors watch. The beautiful black handbag is by Milli Millu.

"Quality is everything, as is looking and feeling amazing. The Fold dresses are about making women feel confident - they're the kind of dresses you'd wear all the time."

Lucia Sanz, marketing manager, makes the all-white trend look a breeze in this stunning sleeveless top, straight trouser and tuxedo jacket co-ord from The Fold's Le Marais collection.

Teamed with tan and navy heels by Chloe, a black shopper from a boutique in Rio and minimal jewellery (Cartier watch and gold necklace fromAristocrazy) Lucia's look is perfect summer-chic.

"I like to showcase the collection and mix in casual separates. My style is quite Parisian and I always opt for white, grey and black - then I brighten up my look with accessories."

Lucia's investment piece? "The perfect jacket is everything. For example, a black or white blazer because it's so versatile."

Karolina Parzych is the product manager at The Fold, and wears a fuschia tuxedo jacket by the label, a grey top from Cos, grey skinny jeans from AllSaints and black ankle boots from Russell & Bromley.

The grey oversized, textured handbag is also from AllSaints and the fabulous chain necklace caught her eye in a London market. Karolina's latest purchase? A sheer maxi dress with floral detailing from Anthropology. In terms of Summer 2014 catwalk trends she loves, she lists midi shorts, flat shoes and everything sheer.

"Working in fashion means I do most of my shopping online, so if I'm not wearing The Fold I'll buy from Atterley Road, Asos Marketplace and AllSaints."

Renatta Taleb, product developer, puts a monochrome outfit together with a white draped jacket from The Fold and black Topshop trousers. The loafers are by Massimo Dutti and the necklace is Topshop (Note: the perfect high street/ designer ensemble.)

"I love to wear denim in the summer, especially when it's worn with a smart jacket and white shirt. In winter, I wear lots of black - dresses, leather skirts and boots."

When asked where the inspiration for the latest collection came from, she reveals, "exhibitions, art, photography, film and the catwalk."

Sales and operations manager, Laura Whitehead is completely classic wearing The Fold's Argyll dress in midnight blue which she teams with black Kurt Geiger heels and a Zara handbag. The statement earrings are from Made and the bracelet is vintage.

"As my role involves interacting with clients I have to look smart, but my outfit needs to be versatile as I'm constantly on the move. I normally opt for jeans and a classic white shirt in a boyfriend style fit and then wear dresses for events."

Her celebrity style inspiration? "Alexa Chung because always looks so relaxed, so chic!"

Rachel Lewington, sales and marketing assistant, has a seriously sharp work wardrobe - this boxy jacket, white sleeveless top and straight trouser two-piece looks the business. And when worn with a classic heel (Rachel's are from Upper Street) the results are SO working girl circa now.

The bright yellow handbag is exactly how to add a flash of colour to your look and a style like this from Zara never fails. Rachel's can't-live-without beauty item? "Definitely my Mac blusher, or my eyeliner. At the moment I'm using one from Topshop."

Andrea Gonzalez Graells, social media assistant, is a lady who can definitely do the pastel pink trend.

We LOVE this boxy jacket and white tunic top combo (both from The Fold), plus it works perfectly with Andrea's black skinny jeans from Zara and the matching heels a la Topshop. Jewellery wise - the necklace is from H&M, the watch is by Michael Kors and the silver ring is from Pandora.

The matchy pink nail polish? It's by Nails Inc.

"I like to wear both high street and designer pieces, though I'm not really fussed about big brand names. I love vintage pieces and I also buy a lot when I'm travelling."

What did she wear to her interview for The Fold? "Smart black trousers and a white shirt, but with a tweed jacket from Zara with studded shoulders to add detail. Heels too, of course."
