Michael Kors showed his 'Big Sur, Big City' Autumn/Winter 2014 catwalk collection Wednesday. The mannish tailored tweeds, chunky knits, denim separates and luxe furs made for crisp, classic wares all about ease and comfort.
When fur wasn't seen across fabulous throw-on scarves it was shaved, dyed and worked into beautifully cut outerwear (read: also LOVE this boxy cocoon-shaped sweater).
Chiffon, sheer and sparkle also sauntered down the runway - the grey silk slip dress teamed with the oversized camel trench? Hello lover.
Skirts and hand-helds were all about the tassle, the long the better, which added to the texture play in the collection. Kors knows how to dress for his loyal fan base - classic, clean-cut and contemporary.
The every shade of grey, the oatmeal, and the monochrome colourways (somehow) oozed with warmth and opulence making each look one you'd happily slouch into all season long.
The hair and makeup mirrored the idea of ease and understated beauty - wispy, undone updos and barely there foundation. Every woman can master this.
