Tommy Hilfiger presented his Autumn/Winter 2014 collection during New York Fashion Week at Park Avenue Armory. The vibe? Think snowy apres-ski style and a fleet of models clad in the cosiest, fleece-lined, fur-trimmed outerwear you've ever seen.
Not only was plaid a major theme (worked across traditional colourways) but pops of orange, burgundy and blue oozed with cool.
This Hilfiger clique made tartan skirts, shirts dresses and coats look fresh and proved that cropped parkas, stripe pop-pom beanies and Aviators are all a gal needs to do that mega-ski-babe thing.
When it wasn't all about tartan, Fair Isle knits and shirt dresses teamed with flatform slip-ons or lace-up walking boots took centre stage.
Going bare-leg with barely-there beauty and girl-next-door-down-dos is just how Hilfiger ladies roll, even when wearing cropped boyfriend jeans or embellished blanket-skirted strap dresses. They're all playful innocence.
